If the bed is made there's no chance someone will see the fitted sheet, so it doesn't need to match the other sheets in your set. Also, lots of people may throw off flat sheets during the night if they get overheated but you'll never throw off the fitted sheet.
The reason I like this particular fitted sheet is that it's a 400 thread count sheet made with organic cotton. Because it's typically not eaten, cotton has a very high pesticide load so I always feel better about buying organic cotton. Despite being a luxury product and the only organic option I can find, the price is reasonable compared to other fitted grounding sheets so it's an excellent value.
